Our Lent activities this year include:
Tuesdays at 7pm - Weekly Lent study group “Rhythms and Reflections”, Starts 20th Feb online on zoom. Do you have a favourite hymn that connects you to God, that you pray with? Share this with your church family.
Sundays at 10am - Weekly Mass for Lent
Sundays at 7pm - Weekly prayers around the cross, starting Sunday 18th February.
Saturday 24th February 11am - Trip to St Stephen Walbrook, Followed by lunch nearby.
Sunday 10th March 10am - Mothering Sunday with Sunday School leading part of the service.
Thursday 21st March 4.30pm - Evensong Westminster Abbey

Join us on Zoom for our weekly Lent study group, which this year looks at ecological and environmental issues around the world.
Our Lent study group is an informal and friendly group who meet to take a fresh and open-minded look at our understanding of mission and gain a global perspective.
You do not need to have attended previous weeks to join the study group.
Prayers around the cross
Starting from Sunday 18th February at 7pm
Held weekly during Lent in Church
Join us on Friday evenings for prayers around the cross and surround yourself with the sounds of Taizé chants and the sights of the evening light and candles.

Lent Lunch
After our service on Sunday 3rd March
Come and share in our Lent Lunch. Funds raised during Lent are shared between St Monica’s Church Mozambique and the London Diocesan Lent Appeal.
The Church of England’s Lent theme for 2024 is Watch and Pray: Wisdom and hope for Lent and life.
Watch and Pray invites us to seek God in both familiar and unfamiliar places this Lent: in darkness and in quiet; in movement and migration; in the healing and transforming work of the Spirit; in the weeping of Holy Week and in the joy of Easter morning
