Gifts in Wills & Gifts in Memory
We welcome gifts in wills and gifts in memory to enable us to continue our mission.
Legacies
After your family and friends have been provided for, please consider leaving a gift to St Paul’s Church Bow Common. Even a small percentage of your estate can have a transformative impact.
It’s easy to make or alter a will, and most charity donations in the UK are free from inheritance tax (St Paul’s Church Bow Common is treated as an exempt charity by HMRC).
All you need to do is:
Seek professional legal advice to assist you with writing your will.
Alternatively, add a codicil to an existing will.
And, if you so wish, you can help us by telling us about your intentions.
Gifts in Memory
Giving in memory can be a wonderful way to pay tribute to a loved one. You can remember their life by giving a financial gift to the church, with your donation going toward the things they enjoyed most; perhaps our choral music or the wonderful T.C. Lewis organ, or perhaps to support the building or the Church more generally.
If you are a UK taxpayer please consider completing and returning a Gift Aid Declaration. This enables us to receive an additional 25p for every £1 donated.
